UBCSEIS estimates 1997 Uniform Building Code coefficients for California sites.  The program uses a sample file of late-Quaternary California faults to compute the closest distances between a site and the surface projection of each of the fault planes.  The program then uses the calculated distances to estimate 1997 building code coefficients and generate graphical plots of estimated design response spectra.
